If you’re in the affected zone, or even if you’re not, hooking up an air quality monitor can be your first line of defense against toxic exposure. In our review of the Amazon Smart Air Quality Monitor, product expert Angela Moscaritolo said the compact device “can help bring you peace of mind in knowing when you’re breathing clean,” thanks to robust measurements for carbon dioxide, particulate matter and more. Staying inside and gaming through the winter months? Pick up a new monitor with a curve to increase immersion and block out the real world. We gave an Editors’ Choice award to Alienware’s 34″ curved QD-OLED display in our review, praising its tremendous picture quality in both SDR and HDR modes, wide color gamut, near-infinite contrast ratio and fast refresh rate, up to 165Hz with Display Port and 100Hz through HDMI. It’s also compatible with AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro for GPU-locked framerates. This is a tremendous all-round screen with few drawbacks, and being able to slice $250 off of the already reasonable retail price makes it a fantastic deal.

No matter how fast your computer is, you’re always going to need storage to make the most of it. If you’re running out of room on your internal drive and don’t want to hassle with plugging in external USB drives all day, it’s a good time to trade up with a fast and capacious Samsung SSD at a 27% discount. In our review of the Samsung 990 EVO, senior hardware analyst Tony Hoffman proclaimed it “an excellent-value mainstream M.2 internal SSD,” thanks to its efficient power consumption, decent speed and support for AES 256-bit full-disk hardware encryption. It’s compatible with both PCIe 4.0 x4 and PCIe 5.0 x2, and fits well in both desktops and laptops.

Taking advantage of the winter doldrums to build a new PC? Start with one of the best processors on the market with a 30% price cut. The 24-core Intel i9-14900KF is an absolute speed demon that will kickstart any gaming or content creation machine. In our review, analyst Michael Justin Allen Sexton raved about its “fast multi-threaded performance, and field-leading single-core performance,” noting that its Raptor Lake architecture pushed to the max does create a lot of heat and power draw. If you’ve got the case and the cooling, this CPU will serve you well.

At retail, this gorgeous TV is a tough one to swallow, but right now Best Buy is slashing over half off the price, so take the opportunity to grab a stellar screen that will make your movies and games look their best. We gave an Editors’ Choice to this TV, with lead analyst Will Greenwald saying it “can put out as much light as a very good LED TV while retaining the same fantastic color, contrast, and deep, detailed shadows OLED panels are capable of” in our review. Pantone-validated color accuracy means every pixel is exactly the hue it needs to be, and a speedy 120Hz refresh rate means sports look great and games even better. Our only caveat in the review was the price, so consider that problem solved.
