A few months after the (rather controversial) release of Star Wars OutlawsUbisoft brings a first big update with the arrival of the extension Wild Card and numerous fixes that aim to improve the game, including stealth in order to have better balance for less frustrating gameplay for players.

After a difficult launch, Ubisoft is doing what is necessary to offer a second youth has Star Wars Outlaws. In addition to updates to correct some gameplay issues, the French publisher released its game yesterday on Steam and will offer other updates to improve certain parts of the game and offer additional content.
Star Wars Outlaws also receives its first downloadable content which adds a new storyline involving the famous bounty hunter Lando Calrissian. This expansion plunges you into the heart of a very dangerous game of Sabacc. The new extension is called Wild Card and will be followed by a second DLC update in Spring 2025 titled A Pirate’s Fortune.
In the last patch available for a few hours, it is stealth that has been greatly revised and improved in order to offer something more enjoyable and less frustrating to players. Ubisoft specifies that this update makes it possible to bring “Stealth and combat improvements that give players more choices, including whether to use stealth or use their blaster, even in city union territories”.
Among the many improvements brought by this patch (considered the biggest ever published since the game’s release), Ubisoft brings improvements to AI and enemy detection. Now players are notified when they are detected and can choose to continue their progress, even if it means being spotted or from change tactics to stay stealthy.
Further improvements are expected to arrive in the coming weeks with additional content planned for 2025. Star Wars Outlaws is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store.
