Don’t have time to decorate for Halloween this year — or looking for something out of the ordinary? Ring’s Candy Cam version of its new 4K security camera, available this month, is a limited edition model for $200.

The Halloween-ified version includes both a little costume for the camera and an attachable trick-or-treat bowl for candy. If you can’t stay at your door to distribute candy to trick-or-treaters, but still want to keep an eye on when the bowl empties, this offers an option.

You can choose between a ghost, pumpkin, cat, bat or spider camera case that comes in a package with the latest Ring 4K wired camera. The deal will not be available after Oct. 31, and the Halloween-themed case doesn’t fit previous wireless Ring cams or the new Ring video doorbells. Ring’s fastest delivery options will have newly ordered cameras arriving at your door by Oct. 17.

Ring has celebrated Halloween before, including running a Ring cam contest to spot ghosts, but this is the first time the security company has sold add-on candy bowls for its products. The attached bowl is weighted for extra stability, and with Ring’s live view, users can check from anywhere to see if they need to replenish the candy or if they want to talk to trick-or-treaters through the two-way audio. (“Hey kid! Don’t take all the Snickers!”)

Ring’s latest 4K cameras come with new tricks of their own, too, including conversational greeting options using Alexa Plus, free with a Prime subscription. A new feature called Search Party, coming in November, coordinates with other Ring users to spot missing pets. And Ring is rolling out what it calls Retinal Vision, the company’s next-generation imaging technology, which uses advanced AI tuning to optimize the video it captures.
