Apple announced support for Sony’s PSVR2 Sense Controllers with visionOS 26, and you can now purchase them from the Apple’s online store.

At WWDC25, Apple announced support for Sony’s PlayStation VR2 Sense Controllers and said that they would be available for sale later this year. That time has finally come: you can now purchase the controllers with charging stand for $249.95 from Apple. They are available online now, and will be available at Apple Stores on Monday, November 17. Funnily enough, this is the only place I’ve found where you can purchase the controllers separately from the PSVR2 headset.

Since the launch of Apple Vision Pro last year, users have been asking for a way to improve gameplay and other tasks that require high precision or input beyond hand tracking. Using the PSVR2 Sense Controllers will greatly improve any game that supports them, such as new pickleball game Pickle Pro (seen above). Here’s how Apple describes it:

Now, developers can deliver even more engaging gameplay experiences for Apple Vision Pro thanks to high-performance motion tracking in 6 degrees of freedom, finger touch detection, and vibration support.

Wrap up

The PlayStation VR2 Sense Controllers are available now on Apple’s online store in the US for $249.99, and will be available in Apple Stores next Monday, November 17. Included in the box are the controllers, a charging stand, a power cable, a power adapter, and two USB adapters. visionOS 26, with support for these controllers, is available now.
