THIS weekend is the best time to save £100s on your TV bills with loads of offers around for a strictly limited period.

Streaming bills in particular have skyrocketed of late due to so-called “streamflation” – but we’ve got secret info to help you bust them.

A bundle from Sky is one of the huge deals on offer

The average Brit is spending a whopping £175-per-year on film and TV streaming services, according to Barclays.

So we’ve uncovered some unmissable deals to bring those costs down.

Many promotions running at the moment are for Black Friday, so don’t expect them to last long.

If you’re looking for sports streaming deals specifically, check out The Sun’s separate piece for Sky Sports from £22 a month and TNT Sports from £2 a month.

Here are the very best deals on offer right now…

#1 Sky TV for £5 a month – and FREE movies

Having Sky TV doesn’t have to mean you have to subscribe to Sky.

Many forget that the company has a sister streaming service, Now – previously known as Now TV.

While it doesn’t have as many channels, the Now Entertainment package does offer all of Sky’s main channels like Sky Atlantic and Sky Max.

Subscribing to Now’s Entertainment membership usually costs £9.99 a month but at the moment it’s available for half price for 12 months, at £4.99.

You’ll have to agree to a 12-month contract to get this price.

You can get a free trial of Sky Cinema’s movies for seven days too.

If you’re really keen on movies long-term, you can get the TV Shows and Movies package for £8.99 a month at the moment instead of £19.99.

#2 Netflix and Discovery+ bundle savings

Netflix doesn’t tend to do Black Friday offers – but there is a way to get a discount with bundles.

Sky Stream is Sky’s plug-in box that beams channels into your living room via Wi-Fi instead of requiring a satellite dish.

At the moment, the Essential TV package is £15 a month and it comes with Netflix Standard with Ads and Discovery+ Entertainment.

Subscribing separately, they cost £5.99 and £3.99 respectively, so just under a tenner.

For an extra fiver, you get 90 free-to-air channels plus Sky’s crown-jewel, Sky Atlantic.

So this might be a worthwhile bundle for those who want more telly for their money.

#3 Paramount+ half price

Paramount+ has a growing list of new shows, as well as the company’s extensive back catalogue of movies to watch.

Until December 1, you can get up to 50 per cent off a subscription.

There are a few options available.

The cheapest Standard plan, which includes ads, usually costs £7.99 a month or £70.99 for a year.

For Black Friday, you can get the monthly subscription (which you can cancel anytime) for £3.99 for the first three months.

Or, if you opt for the annual plan it’s £35.49, so half price.

There are similar savings on the Premium plan without ads too.

£5.49 per month for the first three months on a monthly plan or £48.99 for an annual plan, instead of £97.99.

The annual plan price is only available for one year, so be sure to cancel before if you don’t wish to continue watching at the full price.

#4 99p Prime channels

Amazon Prime allows you to subscribe to other streaming services and watch within the Prime app experience.

This includes MGM+ for extra premium movies and TV shows.

At the moment, MGM+ is running a promotion that allows three months for 99p a month, instead of £5.99.

Other channels such as History Play and Shudder are currently £2.49 instead of £4.99 too.

But hurry, they’re only available until November 30.

#5 Apple TV half price

Apple TV has a number of hit shows, from Ted Lasso to The Morning Show.

The most recent big hit is post-apocalyptic sci-fi series Pluribus, from the creators of Breaking Bad.

Apple TV is currently offering half price on subscriptions, bringing the cost down from £9.99 a month to £4.99.

SWITCH TO FREE ALTERNATIVES?

Many have grown tired of paying out on several streaming services like Netflix and Disney+ given the mounting costs.

But there are some free alternatives around too.

While many of these have been filled with obscure content, more big names like Sky have got on board in recent years offering some quality stuff, which is largely archive but still entertaining.

As well as UKTV, Sony and 5 are among the other players getting involved.

If you haven’t already, give Pluto TV a go, it’s available on pretty much all devices.

On there you’ll find channels from MTV, with Catfish and Geordie Shore.

There’s also Tubi for free star-studded Hollywood movies.
