The Rokid Max 2 AR glasses are currently available for $399 — a solid 25% drop from the usual $529 price tag. These augmented reality glasses deliver vibrant 1080p visuals with a wide 50-degree field of view. That’s like watching a 215-inch screen from about 20 feet away, floating in front of you, without the need for a physical monitor or TV. With no change in core specs from the original Rokid Max, this second-generation model focuses on refinement and comfort while keeping the features that made the first version shine.

If you often work on the go, stream videos privately, or play games from a USB-C device, the Rokid Max 2 is certainly worth considering. It works with most USB-C laptops, Android phones, iPads, and even the Nintendo Switch (with an adapter). Built-in focus dials let you ditch your prescription glasses, while the flip-on blackout shield helps block distractions when needed. It’s not ideal for noisy spaces, but in a quiet room, the image and audio combo feels crisp and cinematic.
The 600-nit micro-OLED display isn’t the brightest in its class, yet the colors pop with undeniable clarity across the entire screen. Will Greenwald notes, “Overall, they’re an excellent option for private, on-the-go work and play,” while rating them “Excellent” in our Rokid Max 2 review. That’s backed by comfortable fit, responsive visuals up to 120Hz, and a roomy carrying case for added portability. You’re not getting innovation here, just refinement, but for the price, the Rokid Max 2 remains one of the best personal AR displays around.
