Advanced Factories will celebrate what will be its ninth edition in 2025from April 8 to 10 at the Fira Barcelona – Gran Vía venue. This annual event, focused on automation and industrial roboticsplans to bring together more than 30,000 professionals from various industry sectors focused on finding factory automation solutions to improve productivity, while advancing sustainability.
More than 570 exhibiting companies will participate in the event, showing the latest in robotics, automation, AI, artificial vision, 3D printing, digital twins, IoT, Big Data or industrial cloud. But also solutions to integrate production systems, cybersecurity, predictive maintenance, quality control and improvement of energy efficiency.
Its motto will be “Redefining Automation with Green Tech”, so it will have one of its main focuses on the sustainability and decarbonization of the industry, apart from AI, after giving this technology and its role in the industrial transformation in the last edition.
Advanced Factories 2025 will also include the Industry 4.0 Congress, which will discuss how technology is an ally to improve energy efficiency, redefine production processes and move towards an industry with more sustainability and less dependence on fossil fuels.
All professionals with disruptive projects and success stories that contribute to improving industrial productivity and sustainability can submit their candidacy to participate as a speaker until February 21.
At this congress there will be five scenarios, in which more than 420 experts will analyze the latest industry trends: intelligent manufacturing driven by automation, robotics, AI, connectivity, virtual reality, artificial vision or digital twin. Among the speakers who have confirmed their participation so far are the AI Director of Stellantis, Anabelle Gerard; the Systems Manager of the ITP Group, Ricardo García; the Head of Manufacturing Engineering at Jaguar Land Rover, Víctor Moreno; and the CEO of the Basque Automotive Manufacturing Center (BAM), Mariluz Villamor.
It will also have a dozen vertical forums on different verticals: energy and greentech technologies, automotive, aeronautics and naval, railways, electronics, health and pharma, metal, textiles, food and beverages, and mobility and logistics. Likewise, it will host forums such as the CIOs Summit, the Industrial Cybersecurity Forum, the Artificial Intelligence Forum or the 3D Printing Forum.
Advanced Factories 2025 will also have room for startups in the industrial sector in the Industry Startup Forumwhich has already The deadline is open until March 4 so that all those who want to participate in it can present their project before business leaders in the sector, potential partners and investors. All startups, entrepreneurs or technology centers with innovative robotics, industrial automation, AI, mixed reality, IoT, industrial cloud, data analytics or cybersecurity solutions applied to different industry sectors have the opportunity to participate.
