The parallels between Scrooge and the Walt Disney Company have continued in recent years: revision of prices on Disney+, increase in annual passports in the parks, elimination of free Fastpasses… The more time passes, the more the situation seems to deteriorate for consumers. The latest announcement from Disneyland Paris therefore had the effect of a bomb. Without even waiting for 2025, the amusement park is taking advantage of the end-of-year crowds to implement new pricing for its tickets. Prices will now be able to vary depending on demand and reach exorbitant levels.
A double-edged system
Dynamic pricing, already criticized in the travel and entertainment industries, has just made its debut at Disneyland Paris. How is she expressed? Until now, rates followed a fixed schedule based on high and low seasons. From now on, Disney park entrance tickets may change in Price up to the same day of the visit depending on attendance. Disney is trying to highlight the reduction in its cheapest ticket, now charged €50 per adult for access to a park (compared to €56 previously). But what is the probability of obtaining such a favorable price with the new system?
Because dynamic pricing doesn’t hesitate to splurge in the other direction. To visit one of the two parks during peak periods – like December 31 for example – the maximum price now reaches the €150 mark. For access to both parks, you will have to pay up to €175. Faced with such differences, visiting Disneyland Paris with family and during school time promises to be difficult to say the least. Let us also remember that the late opening of the Kingdom of Arendelle in 2026 will not justify this drastic increase. But then, what will change in the Ile-de-France park in 2025 apart from prices?
A promising new range of shows
In the absence of a new land or new attractions, visitors will be able to console themselves with a renewal of the daily performances. From January, the Disney Illuminations night show will finally give way to a new show. Disney Tales of Magic will take place every evening starting January 10 and will offer projections on the castle as well as on Main Street (in addition to drones, of course).

The year 2025 will also mark the launch of a season never before seen in the park. Some would have preferred a return of Pirates & Princesses, but this time Disneyland Paris is banking on the atmosphere of summer festivals with the Disney Musical Festival. From April 19 to September 7, 2025, the park will be the scene of daily musical performances. Chip and Dale will notably organize a “Disney Music Hits Concert”, while certain lands will host shows more in line with their atmosphere and theme.

Will this be enough to convince visitors? Many hopes rested on the new space dedicated to The Snow Queen in the Walt Disney Studios park, but you will ultimately have to wait until 2026. However, the transition to the change of identity of the park will begin next year. The redesign of the entrance – formerly called Studio 1 – will provide a taste of what Disney Adventure World will have to offer in the years to come.
