Inntelo, a startup that has developed an AI concierge for the hospitality sector has secured a pre-seed round of £506,000 as it looks to scale its commercial operations.
The Inntelo AI platform provides hotels with an automated concierge agent that guests can access via WhasApp.
The agentic AI system acts as the first point of contact between customers and the hotel, ensuring enquiries can be responded to at all hours.
In March, the Park Hall Resort and Spa in Preston became the first hotel to integrate an AI concierge using Inntelo’s tech.
Now backed by new funding, Inntelo AI aims to more widely roll out its agentic platform and expand its team.
“Hospitality’s AI transformation must be led from within the industry. Too often, hotels have struggled to adopt new technologies because they were developed without real operational insight,” said Asif Alidina, co-founder and chief executive of Inntelo AI.
“We’re incredibly excited about this new era, where the hospitality sector can not only embrace technology earlier than ever before, but also lead the way for the wider real estate and service industries.
The round was led by VC fund Haatch and its partner British Business Bank, with additional support from Look AI Ventures and a handful of angel investors including former executives from Trip.com and DocuSign.
“Inntelo AI has all the hallmarks we look for in a high-potential startup – deep sector knowledge, real operational insight, and a product solving a clear pain point in a large, global market,” added Fred Soneya, general partner at Haatch.
“We’re excited to back Asif and the team as they help hotels unlock the power of AI to transform the guest experience and streamline operations at scale.”
The company previously raised £120,000 in an investment from Antler VC.
