AMERICA’S Got Talent fans were left feeling furious last night when an episode of the hit talent competition aired.
Viewers were quick to spot a major issue with the “new” episode of America’s Got Talent on Tuesday night as they tuned into the new season.

Taking to social media, fans were quick to pick up on how the supposedly new episode, was actually a rerun.
“Isn’t #AGT a rerun? I know it says “new”, but I remember seeing this,” said one person on X.
“Why is #AGT a rerun but they are acting like its a brand new episode?” asked another.
“FYI today’s agt showed first air date 7/1/2025. This is a LIE! It was a RERUN! Stop doing this sh*t,” said a third.
“WHY have we seen this already????? Supposed to be a new show?????” penned a fifth
“Rerun? That is SO lame,” said a sixth.
“Well, guess there’s no point in watching #AGT tonight as it’s a repeat,” added a seventh.
REAL REASON FOR RERUN – REVEALED
But the real reason that AGT is taking a one-week hiatus has now been revealed.
Though the sixth episode of auditions were meant to air on July 1, the show was off air.
The reason for this was for the Fourth of July holiday.
But fans should not fear, because the series will be back to airing fresh episodes very soon.
Just next week, on Tuesday, July 8, the judges will be sat at the iconic panel once again as brand new acts showcase their talents.
NEW SEASON COMPLAINTS
At the start of the new season back in June, fans were demanding that one of the judges should retire.
The current panel features judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Sofia Vergara.
But fans slammed one judge in particular – especially for comments he made and a changed decision.
That judge was Howie.
America’s Got Talent judges
THOUSANDS of hopefuls have graced the America’s Got Talent stage to showcase their abilities.
Here is some more information about the A-list judges for season 20:
Simon Cowell – On October 22, 2015, it was revealed Simon was replacing Howard Stern on the AGT judges panel. He became a judge during the program’s 11th season and has since remained a series regular.
Mel B – In March 2013, Mel B was announced as Sharon Osbourne’s replacement on AGT. She remained on the show for five seasons before leaving in 2018. She made her grand return this year for season 20.
Sofia Vergara – On February 27, 2020, NBC revealed Sofia was replacing Gabrielle Union for AGT season 15.
Howie Mandel – Out of all the panelists, Howie Mandel is the longest-tenured judge on America’s Got Talent. Howie joined the hit reality series during the show’s 5th season, replacing David Hasselhoff.
The show is still at the audition stage and saw the judges faced with singer Benjamin Hightower, who sang Pink Pony Club, and magician Cyril.
One act that didn’t impress was Spaceman Bob, while dance troupe Urban Therapy had the judges divided.
The dancers, from Italy, used synchronized movements to create pictures, with Sofia and Simon giving them the thumbs-up.
Howie and Mel were not so impressed, saying No, before Howie changed his mind.
NEW JUDGES PLEASE
This got one person riled on X saying: “I’m about to be done with this show bruh! CAN WE GET NEW JUDGES???
“You’ll almost have to do something supernatural to impress them now!
“That performance was amazing but yet Howie wanted to say no at first. Smh.”
Another slammed: “I think Howie needs to leave #AGT.
“He’s been on for so long that nothing seems to impress him anymore.”
While a third penned: “Your AGT sucks and I’ve watched for as long as you’ve been on. After the premiere this season, your done in my book. Bye bye.”
