A project dating from 2021
Nothing says that it is this mixture that we will see in the cinema in 2026, more precisely on September 11, 2026, the proclaimed release date of the film Clayface by Warner Bros according to the American media Variety. But what is now certain is that the script will indeed be by Mike Flanagan, says the same source, which therefore affirms the development of a film dedicated to one of Gotham City’s many villains.
Flanagan had already pitched a plot in 2023 to Warner Bros, without success. To date, nothing says that the plot presented will be the same. Clayface has had several identities, but the first is that of Basil Barcoan actor who literally loses his temper when learning about the remake of a horror film in which he starred.
