Apple Event 2025: The wait is almost over as the iPhone 17 launch date is finally official! While putting rest to all the rumours and speculations, Apple has announced the date of the fall event, which is scheduled for 9th September, 2025 at 10:30 PM IST. It will be hosted at its annual fall showcase at Apple Park, Cupertino.

The event will be live at 10:30 PM IST in India on 9th September 2025. You can tune in at www.apple.com or go to the Apple TV app to access the livestream. The official YouTube channel of Apple will also showcase the iPhone 17 series event live.
iPhone 17 Series: What’s Coming
Apple is expected to introduce four models this year – the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The new iPhone 17 Air is likely to replace the Plus model, and leaks suggest it could be the slimmest and lightest iPhone yet. Based on the leaks, it may feature a 6.6-inch display and Apple’s in-house C1 modem.
On the Pro side, rumours suggest to a new bar-style camera housing, aluminium frames, and the latest A19 chips for faster performance for the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Another major update is that ProMotion displays are finally expected to become standard across the lineup, not just for the Pro models. Cameras are also expected to get a boost for the Pro models, while the entire series may get a 24MP selfie camera for the first time.
Beyond iPhones: Apple Watch Ultra 3, Watch Series 11, Watch SE
While the iPhone will be the star of the show, Apple usually takes the opportunity to refresh other products too. This year, we could see the Apple Watch Ultra 3, a new Apple Watch Series 11, and possibly a refreshed Apple Watch SE for more budget-conscious buyers. Updated AirPods Pro and even a new HomePod mini could also make an appearance.
Software Announcements
Apple’s September event is also when it confirms rollout dates for its latest software. This time, expect to hear more about iOS 26 along with updates for watchOS, iPadOS, and macOS. These updates typically begin rolling out shortly after the new iPhones reach customers.
