Black Friday is already here, well in Australia, at least. Which means the Apple Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping event has now gone live down under and will roll out in the U.K. and U.S. in the coming hours. The Australian offers will tell us in detail what’s coming elsewhere. Full info below and I’ll be updating this post as more countries come online.
Apple Shopping Event: The Dates And Deals
The event runs from the moment midnight strikes on Friday, Nov. 29 through to the following Monday, Dec. 2 inclusive in your time zone.
Instead of knocking money off its products, Apple’s technique is to provide a gift card that can be spent anywhere instore or online with Apple. So, if you’re planning to buy other stuff from Apple, it works out as good as a discount.
Apple Shopping Event: iPhone Offers
Buy an iPhone 15, iPhone 14 or iPhone SE, means it will come with a gift card. In Australia, Apple says that you can snag a gift card of A$120 with an iPhone 15, while an iPhone 14 comes with a gift card worth A$80. The most affordable iPhone, the latest iPhone SE, comes with a A$40 gift card.
All of which suggests that when the U.S. offers are revealed, they’ll likely be $75 with iPhone 15, $50 with iPhone 14 and $25 with an iPhone SE. In the U.K., expect £60 gift card with iPhone 15, £40 with iPhone 14 and £20 with the iPhone SE. I’ll update this post as soon as each country confirms this.
Apple Shopping Event: iPad Offers
A bigger Apple gift card is available when you buy an iPad, specifically, an iPad Pro, iPad Air, or iPad (10th generation). In Australia, the iPad 10th generation attracts a A$80 gift card, iPad Air A$120 and iPad Pro A$160. This seems to hint that in the U.S. we can expect $50 gift card with iPad 10thgeneration, $75 with iPad Air and $100 gift card with iPad Pro. Across the pond in the U.K., look for £40 gift card with the iPad 10th generation, £60 card with iPad Air and £80 gift card with iPad Pro. Again, I’ll confirm these as the minute ticks past midnight in each time zone.
