On Monday, November 24, Disneyland Paris finally lifted the veil on the future of its second park. The World of Frozen land, as well as Adventure Bay and Adventure Way will open on March 29, 2026. This inauguration will mark the change of identity of Walt Disney Studios Park which will now be known as Disney Adventure World. The tourist destination invited us to an exclusive tour of this massive extension before introducing us to its manufacturing secrets… all the secrets. And among the many concept arts, photos and other diagrams presented today, a discreet detail, to say the least, did not fail to attract our attention.
During a presentation dedicated to the future Disney Cascade of Light night show, the teams from the park’s Entertainment division detailed the technical aspects of the upcoming show. In order to offer a 360-degree experience visible from any location on the lake, a structure will be installed every evening in the center of the water point using electric boats. This island will be made up of four branches, pointing to different points of interest in the Disney Adventure World park. On the diagram (reshared by the specialized DLPReport page), each branch has a name corresponding to the land it faces. Except that one of the zones has never been formalized yet.

🎆 For “Cascade of Lights”, a floating stage made of 5 big elements with lights, water screens, pyrotechnics and 379 drone launchpads will be pieced together silently by electric tug boats each night. Here’s a look at 3D renderings: pic.twitter.com/APOlRJhK5y

An Avatar land next to the Kingdom of Arendelle?
The main structure of the Disney Cascade of Light show points to three already known lands. One is named Racer in reference to the RC Racer attraction from Toy Story Playland, another from Frozen in reference to World of Frozen, and the third is called Leo for the Lion King area currently under construction. And the fourth branch then? This is called “Navi“, presumably in reference to the native people of the planet Pandora in the franchise Avatar by James Cameron.
An area Avatar already exists in the Animal Kingdom park at Walt Disney World in Florida, while a second is about to begin construction at Disney California Adventure. Knowing that the new objective of the Disney Adventure World park is to offer immersion in the most popular worlds of the Walt Disney Company, the Avatar universe seems to be the perfect candidate to accompany the Marvel, Disney and Pixar universes already present on site.
Since the first two lands give life to the ecosystems ofAvatar et Avatar: The Way of Water, the land of Disney Adventure World in France could be inspired by the third feature film, Avatar: Fire and Ashwhich will be released in cinemas on December 17, 2025. In the absence of an official announcement, we are content to make a hypothesis based on these internal diagrams, but it is difficult to see this appointment as a simple coincidence. Once Simba’s kingdom emerges, the world of Pandora will perhaps be the next world to complete the French park. At least, we hope so.
