Barclays customers have been left unable to spend their money as the mobile app goes down.
More than 600 people have reported outages online as both payments and refunds are unable to be processed.
One customer said: ‘Surprise, surprise, Barclays online banking is down again… this is not the first time, nor will it be the last.
‘I do not understand how a bank of such size and calibre is allowed to have such a us.’
Outages were first reported around 8.30am, and is affecting both card, contactless and bank transfers.
Users are also unable to withdraw cash, leaving weekend plans up in the air.
Another customer said: ‘My Barclays app says I have no bank cards?
‘Just tried to pay for something at Tescos and my card is not only not working, but my app says it doesn’t exist! What’s happening?’
