And now, the company has taken a step ahead for its smart device series with the launch of BoatTAG which is being subbed a BLE tracker designed for Android users. The device will help the users in locating misplaced items like luggage, keys, wallets, handbags, and a lot more using Google’s Find My Device Network.
Boat TAG specifications and features
As of now, the company highlighted that it offers semi-real-time global location tracking to keep a check on your belongings. The Boat TAG comes with an 80dB alarm that can assist users in finding new items. However, one thing that the users should know is that the device only functions in a Bluetooth range of up to 10 meters.
The device also comes with unknown tracker alerts that boost the privacy and security of the users by preventing unauthorized tracking. Apart from that, Boat has claimed that the device can go on for a year on its battery. In addition, the company is also offering an extra battery unit in the package which is great and makes the device a value-for-money offering.
The boat TAG is compatible with Android devices and is only available in a single Black color option. It is available in the Indian market for a price of Rs 1,299 under the early bird offer. There are chances that the company will bump the prices of the device in the near future.
It also carries a one-year warranty. The first sale of the Boat Tag will begin on February 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM as per the Indian standard time.
