The iPhone 16 has become more affordable in India, with Amazon now offering the device at one of its lowest prices yet. Apple recently revised the official price after launching the iPhone 17 series, and retailers are adding their own discounts to clear out remaining units. Initially launched at Rs 79,900 in 2024, the iPhone 16 is now available at a massive Rs 17,000 discount on Amazon with bank offers. iPhone 16 Discount on Amazon
At the moment, the 128GB variant of the iPhone 16 is listed at Rs 66,900 on Amazon, compared to its earlier listed price of Rs 69,900.
Buyers using credit cards from ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank, or SBI can get an instant discount of Rs 4,000, bringing the effective price of the 128GB model to Rs 62,900. The same discount applies to buyers opting for no-cost EMI plans through the eligible banks.
The price cut follows Apple’s recent adjustment, which brought the official price of the iPhone 16 down to Rs 69,900, compared to the original launch price of Rs 79,900.
iPhone 16 Specifications
The iPhone 16 arrived in India in September 2024. It features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits and comes with Ceramic Shield protection. The handset runs on Apple’s A18 chipset, built on a 3nm process, and includes a six-core CPU, five-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine.
For photos and videos, the iPhone 16 includes a 48MP Fusion main camera along with a 12MP ultrawide camera. On the front, it features a 12MP camera for selfies and FaceTime video calling. The phone includes features like the Dynamic Island, 5G support, and improved battery efficiency over the previous model. Apple has also added a new Camera Control button, giving users quicker access to shooting tools.
With the recent price cut and ongoing offers, the iPhone 16 becomes a more practical choice for buyers who want a newer iPhone without the higher price of the latest models.
