Unihertz has officially launched the Titan 2, a smartphone that brings back the charm of physical QWERTY keyboards. This phone still offers all the modern-day Android features, with a MediaTek processor, a 50 MP main camera, and Android 15 out of the box. Here’s everything you need to know about this retro classic phone.
The Unihertz Titan 2 features a 4.5-inch square display with a 2K resolution. The phone also has a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and swift navigation in the UI. Apart from the QWERTY-style keycaps, it has another standout feature. On the rear, the phone includes a 2-inch secondary screen housed in the camera module. This mini display can show widgets, notifications, or double as a selfie preview screen. This gives the phones retro yet classic look.
Even the physical QWERTY keyboard has been redesigned for improved tactile feedback and now supports swipe gestures and custom shortcuts. This means that although it’s a retro-style keyboard, it’s packed with all the modern features to make it a more productivity-focused device.
Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 processor, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a massive 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. This combination is more than enough to deliver fast performance for multitasking, apps, and media.
In terms of photography, the Titan 2 sports a 50 MP main camera and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3.4x optical zoom. On the front, it gets a 32 MP selfie camera with autofocus, catering to both casual and professional users. This means it can easily snap some great photos while looking like a vintage piece of tech.
On the battery side, this phone is backed by a 5,050mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The Titan 2 runs on Android 15 and is just 10.8mm thick and weighs 235 grams.
The Unihertz Titan 2 is now available for pre-order via Kickstarter. There is an early bird pricing of $269 (around Rs 23,163), while the final retail price will be approximately $399 (around Rs 34,358).
