A BELOVED Chevrolet model is getting a major exterior makeover this year, and many drivers are big fans of the “bold” new design.
The 2025 Chevy Traverse High Country will feature some classy details on the outside and luxury touches on the inside.
Prices for the models start at $54,995 after the SUV was given a comprehensive overhaul for the new year.
One of the fancy exterior features is the High Country trim, showing off the chrome grill and its unique 22-inch wheels.
Inside, it boasts Super Cruise, the General Motors-designed hands-free driver assistance system as standard.
It also includes heated and ventilated front seats with leather accents and a powered folding third row.
Other changes for 2025 include the C-shaped element that wraps around the lower light units.
A chrome window trim and body-color piece are also new for this year.
Drivers can choose between either Jet Black upholstery with bronze accents or Sky Cool Gray seats, both exclusive looks for the High Country.
It is also suited for towing a trailer and features Hitch Guidance, which displays a centered guideline to help align the hitch with your trailer, and Hitch View, a specific rear camera angle showing a trailer hitch close up.
The price is a little over $1,000 more than the previous generation High Country variant cost in 2023.
That makes it the second-most expensive model in the Traverse lineup, behind the RS trim which starts at $56,795.
Chevrolet dealers have been quick to promote the new model.
“Get ready to elevate your adventures with the 2025 Chevy Traverse,” Vancouver, Washington-based dealer Alan Webb wrote on X.
“With a bold new design, advanced tech features, and spacious comfort for the whole family, it’s the perfect blend of style and functionality.”
And drivers are just as impressed.

“That actually looks nice,” one X user wrote.
“Quite a nice looking vehicle … gosh I need to make more money,” wrote another.
However, others were less convinced.
“The sun will collapse over itself, becoming a black hole that swallows our solar system, before I stroke a $54K check for a Chevy “truck” with a four banger,” wrote one.
While another liked the look but not much else.
“It looks good. I’ll give it that,” they wrote. “It looks like a slightly shrunken Tahoe now.
“Rather than the modern interpretation of the whale Impalas of the 90s that previous models went for.”
