Talay was a military leader in the Al-Qaeda-affiliated terror group Hurras al-Din (HaD).
The monster was killed when a missile launched by U.S. Central Command forces struck Northwest Syria on February 23.
US authorities released the incredible drone footage that caught the terror bosses final moments.
Talay, a Turkish national, was wiped out while in a car.
The US agency said in an X post that the airstrike was part of it’s commitment to “disrupt and degrade efforts by terrorists to plan, organize, and conduct attacks against civilians and military personnel”.
CENTCOM commander Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla said: “As we have in the past, we will continue to relentlessly pursue these terrorists in order to defend our homeland, and U.S., allied, and partner personnel in the region and beyond.”
Donald Trump praised the deadly strike in a glowing Truth Social post.
The President wrote: “US forces conducted a precision airstrike against a member of al-Qaeda in Syria this weekend. The terrorist leader was working with al-Qaeda across the region.”
“Congratulations to CENTCOM Commander Gen. Michael Kurilla, and the US warfighters who dealt Justice to another Jihadi threatening America and our allies and partners.”
This has not been the only recent airstrike the US has launched in Syria, to halt growing fears of terrorism in the area.
Another senior HaD official was wiped out in a US attack just two days before Talay.
Wasim Tahsin Bayraqdar, a senior leadership facilitator for the terror group, was killed.
Dozens of missiles were launched after barbaric dictator Bashar al-Assad’s regime was overthrown on 8 December.
More than 75 “precision airstrikes” were carried out on that day as fears over a power vacuum forming in the wartorn country had grown.
WARNING TO THE WEST
An expert told The Sun that The West was facing a “War on Terror” with the rise of extremists like the Houthis and Hezbollah.
And security experts told The Sun that the Israel-Hamas conflict means a terrorist attack on UK soil is “absolutely possible”.
Former US General Ben Hodges and security expert Professor Anthony Glees spoke to The Sun about how the West needs to steel itself for the bloodshed that may be coming in the Middle East.
Professor Glees told us Hamas’ brutal massacre on October 7 was the spark that lit the fuse on a new powderkeg – and warned the UK is not prepared.
And meanwhile, General Hodges said: “The UK is in a pre war environment. That means war is coming.”
