Available to Chipotle Rewards members, fans of the popular fast food chain can put their brand known to the test for a chance to score the prizes.
From today, through Thursday, August 14 and Tuesday, August 19 through Thursday, August 21, Chipotle IQ’s gameplay period will be on.
Those who get involved can expect to answer multiple-choice, true or false, and short-answer questions.
Questions may be any thing from Chipotle’s sourcing of real food, to its sustainability efforts.
The Chipotle IQ can be played once each day.
The prizes in the game include a BUY-ONE-GET-ONE (BOGO) free entrée code, a free Queso Blanco offer, free Adobo Ranch offer, or additional Chipotle Rewards points.
The first 10,000 Chipotle IQ players to achieve a five out of five score each hour will win the free Chipotle.
For each of these hours, there will be 6,000 BOGO entrée offers, 2,000 free Adobo Ranch offers, and 2,000 free Queso Blanco offers available for participants.
Users who score four out of five will earn 25 Chipotle Rewards points during the dates.
And fans who choose not to snag their food prize after scoring full points will also receive the bonus points reward.
Up to 300,000 Chipotle Reward points are available for prize winners each day.
Across the two weeks of gameplay, players can win a maximum of three prizes.
This can include one BOGO offer, one side and 25 reward points.
It comes after the major fast food chain saw a 20 per cent year-over-year increase in participation since 2023.
Chris Brandt, President and Chief Brand Officer at Chipotle, said this trends was “underscoring just how much our fans enjoy putting their knowledge of Chipotle to the test”.
He added: “As we return for the sixth year, we’re leveling up the experience with our longest gameplay period in the promotion’s history and our biggest prize pool yet.”
Anyone in the U.S. or Canada can get involved in the trivia if they are 13 years or older, and minors younger just need to have parental consent.
Around the world, Chipotle has over 3,8000 restaurants including in the U.S., Canada, U.K, France, Germany, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.
Another game from Chipotle in July saw the fast food giant give away free guacamole for a year.
This was part of their interactive AvoLotto Sweepstakes digital that that asked customers to scan avocados using an AR lens on Snapchat.
What is the viral “Chipotle phone method”?
Videos of Chipotle customers filming workers making their orders have been flooding social media.
Chipotle allegedly sent a memo to employees telling them to fill up burrito bowls to the brim when a customer is filming while ordering, according to business and investment influencer Alex Friedman on X.
Videos have been shared across platforms of customers filming their orders as workers pile their bowls high with their chosen options.
There have been some extreme cases where customers brought in cameras, lighting, and sound equipment to film workers and get the most food in their bowls.
