Press note. Cisco has presented its offer Sovereign Critical Infrastructuredesigned to respond to the demands of European organizations of greater control and autonomy about its digital infrastructure and your data.
The new solution of solutions is totally configurable, allowing customers to implement and manage it in their own local physical environments. It covers the main lines of Cisco products, from routing, switching and wireless connectivity to collaboration and selected terminals, optimized by safety and observation capacity solutions of Cisco and Splunk.
For governments, this helps to guarantee that essential systems are firmly under their controlwhile financial entities, health service providers and other regulated sectors companies obtain greater ease to achieve sovereignty and regulatory compliance. In addition, AI Factors and other innovative companies can now build data centers in Europe that will lay the foundations for the European Sovereign Infrastructure.

Sovereign Critical Infrastructure, características
- Local implementation (ON-PREMISE): Customers can implement Cisco Sovereign Critical Infrastructure in their facilities, according to their needs and under their management.
- Without ‘safety switch’ (Kill Switch): Porfolio is configured to function in an isolated environment. Cisco cannot deactivate products remotely. This puts control in the hands of customers and eliminates any questions about a possible intervention that could affect or interrupt its operation.
- Isolated Licenses’: The Cisco Sovereign Critical Infrastructure Porfolio is configured to function in an asylum environment, so that Cisco cannot intervene to deactivate products remotely. This puts control in the hands of customers.
- Certifications: Cisco allows customers to meet the regulatory compliance requirements through solutions that meet fundamental certifications and standards, both of the EU and each country. Most of these local solutions have the IPV6 and Common Criteria certification, while Cisco has a clear road map to obtain the new cybersecurity certification of the European Union (EUCC, European Union Cybersecury Certification).
- Comprehensive and customizable offer: Configurable to meet custom security and compliance needs, as a client managed by the client. It can also be implemented in hybrid environments, providing a high level of local control along with cloud services.
