THE college student who sank a 94ft putt to win a car revealed he has never played golf.
Trevor Frey sparked absolutely wild scenes at half-time during a NCAA basketball match on Sunday night.

The Bradley student was selected to attempt the full-court putting challenge.
The aim is to try and make a putt of a golf ball from one end of the basketball court into the tiny cutout gap of a giant cardboard sign 94ft away [28.7m].
Manage it, and the successful member of the audience wins a brand-new 2025 Mazda CX-50 car worth $31,000.
And that is exactly what Frey did after being urged to enter by his mom as an unlikely way to get a motor.
He made his way down to the court during the interval of Bradley Brave’s 73-56 win over Northern Iowa Panthers at Carver Arena in Peoria, Illinois.
And the freshman sent the white ball tumbling down the wooden surface… before it nestled in the ‘hole’.
Frey could barely believe his achievement as the whole place erupted – and he was pounced on by the team’s gargoyle mascot Kaboom.
The video spread on social media with more than a million views and even featured at fifth on SportsCenter’s Top 10.
But Frey then made the shocking and honest admission – that he was not a golfer.
Frey said: “I never golfed in my life. My mom entered me in this contest and said, ‘Hey, you might win a car, go for it.’
“I don’t have a car. So I figured I’d give it a try.
“It’s just, like, surreal.
“The only part that I remember is it going in the hole, and then everything else is a blur.
“I remember Kaboom coming over, but after that, I was jumping up and down, high-fiving people, celebrating.
“I think I want to keep the car, you know, I’ll be driving around campus. It’d be nice in a new 2025 Mazda.”
