CrowdStrike Holdings Inc.’s Enterprise Graph solution is the company’s latest defense against cyberattacks fueled by agentic artificial intelligence.
The innovation is part of the company’s new Agentic Security Platform and Agentic Security Workforce. Both products address growing concerns about cybersecurity in the AI era.
“We know legacy antivirus doesn’t work,” said Mike Sentonas (pictured), president of CrowdStrike. “We all in the industry know that. But a lot of auditors in the forms that they get organizations to fill, it’s, ‘What antivirus do you use?’ If you use anything more modern, you’re non-compliant. We have to change the way we think. Otherwise, we’re going to keep reading about the next organization that was taken offline.”
Sentonas spoke with theCUBE’s Dave Vellante and Rebecca Knight at Fal.con, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, News Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed CrowdStrike’s new approach to cyber resiliency and why Enterprise Graph represents the next stage of data security. (* Disclosure below.)
How Enterprise Graph unifies security data
Threat actors don’t have regulatory requirements, giving them an advantage over cybersecurity companies. Defenders need a shift in mindset around AI if they want to keep pace with attackers, according to Sentonas.
“Anyone that can use one of these systems and can use natural language to effectively create these tools, they stand shoulder to shoulder with the most sophisticated nation states and the most capable e-crime groups,” he said.
CrowdStrike sees Enterprise Graph as the foundation for its AI-driven defense model. The tool essentially creates a 4D map of one’s security enterprise, harmonizing all of its data and identifying the most valuable assets in the wake of an attack, according to Sentonas.
“For us, the Enterprise Graph is having a single place to bring in all of your threat information,” Sentonas said. “To bring in all of your asset data, to bring in all of your identity data, to bring in all of your user information, and being able to search that and unify the data.”
