The menu revamp coincides with Dairy Queen’s 85th birthday.
Diners will be able to enjoy a cake-flavored frozen treat that contains vanilla ice cream and confetti sprinkles, according to the brand.
And, the brand’s cotton candy-flavored Blizzard treat is also making a return.
Diners who are a fan of the campside classic S’mores will be able to enjoy a s’mores Blizzard dessert.
This comes with marshmallow-filled chocolate bars and is finished off with a Graham cracker crunch topping.
But, the menu additions do not end there as there are two more desserts making their debuts.
Those with a sweet tooth will be able to enjoy the brand’s Mixing Bowl mashup – a combination of brownie batter and chocolate chip cookie dough that’s turned into an ice cream.
And, there will be a strawberry cheesecake Blizzard treat on offer too.
This dessert is finished off with chocolate chunks and a strawberry topping.
The perks do not end there as diners can snap up a small Blizzard treat for just 85 cents.
“For 85 years, we have been serving up smiles, sweet traditions and the most iconic frozen treats around,”Maria Hokanson, the Executive Vice President of Marketing at American Dairy Queen Corporation, said.
“We figured what better way to celebrate this milestone than by giving our fans even more reason to indulge in their favorite flavors by offering them an 85-cent Blizzard.”
The 85 cent Blizzard dessert is available between March 24 and April 6 for those who use the Dairy Queen rewards system.
But, fans are still calling for flavors not on the menu – despite the new additions.
What is coming to Dairy Queen menus?
DAIRY Queen chiefs have unveiled the restaurant’s chain summer menu and revealed a list of new additions

- Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard Treat
- S’mores Blizzard Treat
- Confetti Cake Blizzard Treat
- Cotton Candy Blizzard Treat
Diners want chiefs to add lemon-flavored treats and a strawberry shortcake version to be added to the menu.
“Please bring strawberry shortcake blizzards back,” one fan begged on X.
“I haven’t had a genuine one in over 10 years. I’m 43 yrs old, and it’s my fav blizzard!”
Meanwhile, others want the company to roll out an ice cream cake-flavored Blizzard.
But, shoppers have complained that they’ve not been able to take advantage of the 85-cent Blizzard deal that the company has promoted.
Some claimed the promotion wasn’t showing up in the rewards section of the chain’s app.
A customer’s complaint even prompted Dairy Queen chiefs to apologize in an X message.
Dairy Queen isn’t the only chain making changes to its menu.
Starbucks has removed more than a dozen drinks from its menus.
Chick-fil-A and Denny’s have also launched their own respective spring menus.
