Dell has been infringing on AI software for four years, Anaconda says in the lawsuit

AI software library company Anaconda Inc. accused Dell Inc. of using its products without a license for four years and lying about it in a copyright case in Texas federal court.

Dell used “delay tactics” and “repeatedly lied about the extent of access and use” by thousands of employees, Anaconda told the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas on Thursday. Educational institutions, individuals and small businesses can use Anaconda’s software, but Dell refused in good faith to negotiate a license required for large enterprises, the complaint said.
