Christmas is over, the new year has arrived, but the festivities continue on Disney+. Mickey’s streaming platform is attacking 2025 with a packed program. Now that Canal+ subscribers have lost access to this catalog, the service will have to redouble its efforts to convince these users to take out a full-fledged subscription. In the future, Disney+ will be the only one to stream the firm’s content – with the exception of a VOD purchase/rental partnership with Orange – and has therefore decided to mark this transition with a major release. Fans of action, adventure, and those nostalgic for 80s cinema will be delighted to learn the inclusion ofIndiana Jones and the Clock of Destiny in the platform catalog.
The fifth opus of the franchise entered theaters on June 21, 2023 with an almost impossible objective: to make us forget the catastrophe of Crystal Skull to pay tribute to the archaeologist one final time. With Indiana Jones 4 et Star Wars Episode VIIit must be said that poor Harrison Ford subscribes to… his characters. Which doesn’t bode well for James Mangold’s attempt. But after honoring Wolverine in Loganthe American director was able to repeat the exercise with Indy. Without being free from all defects, Indiana Jones and the Clock of Destiny is an effective adventure which even manages to surprise thanks to the atypical duo formed by Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag). If you didn’t know what to watch this weekend, here’s our recommendation!

Indiana Jones has not said his last word
On the big screen, the adventures of the archaeologist come to an end with this fifth feature film. But the cult character will now face its video game competitors. Since Tomb Raider et Uncharted did not hesitate to draw inspiration from the recipe established by Indy to make a name for themselves, so it was high time for Professor Jones to invite himself to consoles and PC. One month after the launch ofIndiana Jones and the Ancient Circle on Microsoft platforms, the game is already a global success.
Players and critics are unanimous: Indy’s expeditions have never been as exciting as controllers in hand. The developers at MachineGames have managed to enhance the adventure/puzzle genre with perfectly mastered first-person gameplay, while offering a storyline worthy of the best films. Unsurprisingly, rumors are already saying that other games are in preparation, enough to predict a revival of the film franchise in the world of video games. Xbox and PC players can already enjoy the title at no additional cost in the Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass catalogs, while PlayStation fans will have to wait until next spring without further details.
