Leaked renders of DJI’s upcoming Osmo Action 6 show major upgrades in sensor size, video capability, and endurance, according to media report. The action camera reportedly features a 1/1.1-inch stacked CMOS sensor co-developed with Sony—nearly 40% larger than the previous generation—along with an F2.0–F4.0 variable-aperture 16mm lens.
The device is said to support 8K/30fps HDR and ProRes video, 5.3K/60fps, and 4K/120fps recording, with 4-hour battery life and IP68 water resistance up to 20 meters. Other highlights include built-in 64GB storage, RockSteady 4.0 stabilization, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and a new smartwatch link feature for remote control and real-time metrics.
