The lucky shopper claimed to have entered four Dollar General stores before making the purchase.
He posted to X to boast his new collection of packs.
The blessed punter said: “Hit like 4 random dollar generals in the country side of South Carolina.
“Left tons of product at each, absolutely insane haul.”
The discount store chain even replied to his post on social media.
Their official account posted a reply, from employee Hannah.
She said: “Now THIS is a haul!
“Thanks for stopping in.”
The euphoric shopper replied back: “Thanks for stocking them!”
Dollar General was set up in 1939 and began as a family-owned business offering stunning discounted deals to customers.
The stores sell a range of products from food, health and beauty products, home cleaning supplies, apparel, homeware and more.
But they also known by some Pokémon fans to sell cards for sometimes discounted prices.
The fan who picked up the colossal collection of packs appeared to have bought a handful of Paradox Rift packs, as well as Paldea Evolved packs.
They also showed off a bunch of stunning Mini Tins that they had also acquired.
The successful haul appeared to show off nearly 50 packs in total as well as at least nine Mini Tins.
It comes after Target rolled out a policy affecting Pokémon fanatics ahead of a launch for a new collection.
The retailer issues a warning to customers that the packs will be stored elsewhere and not on shelves.
