December marks the end of the year and the last hurrah of the holiday shopping season. There are many titles to enjoy, but we’ve whittled this month’s picks to the six most promising.

It promises rich, Diablo-like gameplay with highly complex character specializations and skill trees. Competition-starved gamers have Marvel Rivals on the horizon, which offers intense 6v6 player brawls featuring Marvel’s finest heroes and villains.

Fantasian Neo Dimension debuted as an Apple Arcade title, but receives notable enhancements with this console and PC release. This includes English and Japanese voiceovers and 4K visual support on all platforms except the Nintendo Switch.
