SKY customers can bag loads of freebies worth hundreds – just don’t forget to claim them.
If you’re forking out for monthly Sky TV or broadband bills then there are some perks you absolutely shouldn’t ignore.

Here are some of the best Sky benefits and how much you might be saving.
FREE PARAMOUNT+
If you have a Sky Cinema subscription, you can claim Paramount+ free of charge.
The plan makes you eligible for a Paramount+ Basic with Ads membership – no matter if you’re using Sky Glass, Sky Stream or Sky Q.
This plan usually costs £4.99 a month, or £59.88 over the course of a year.
It caps you at HD resolution, limits you to a single device, doesn’t include downloads, and shows you ads every so often.
But free is free, and it’s a nice perk to have.
You can also upgrade to Standard to remove ads for £3 a month instead of the usual £7.99 – or Premium to get 4K viewing for £6 instead of the regular £10.99 pricing.
Value: £59.88 yearly
FREE FOOD
Sky has a rewards scheme that doesn’t cost anything to join and includes loads of benefits – including weekly food freebies.
It’s called Sky VIP, and you can find it in the MySky app.
The food freebies are through a partnership with Sainsbury’s.
Each week, you’ll be able to get something from the premium Taste the Difference Range.
We’ve already seen pizzas and ice lollies handed out, with “millions” of goodies on offer.
A Taste the Difference pizza can cost anywhere from £3.50 to £5, so that could be potential savings of £260 a year.

But the value of each week’s freebie can vary, so you might end up saving less than that.
Just go into the Sky VIP app to get your freebie – they refresh each Wednesday.
Value: Up to £260 a year
FREE NETFLIX
Sky includes Netflix with its Essential TV and Ultimate TV packages.
You’ll just need to log into Netflix on your Sky TV to get set up.
It works even if you’re already paying for Netflix separately. Sky will simply cover your bill.
The catch is that you’ll only get Netflix Standard with Ads.
That’s worth £5.99 a month, or £71.88 over the course of a year.
HOW MUCH DOES NETFLIX USUALLY COST?

FREE CINEMA TICKETS
If you’re paying for Sky Cinema then you get a pair of free cinema tickets every single month.
You can use them at any Vue cinema in the UK, as long as the screening is between Sunday and Thursday.
5
Just go into the MySky app, choose Sky VIP, then tap on the Your Vue Tickets tile.
You can claim two codes, each of which is eligible for a single standard seat.
Copy them and then book online at the Vue website, then enter your code at checkout. You can also use the QR code in the Sky app to book tickets in person at a Vue cinema.
A single ticket typically costs between £5 and £11, so you’d be saving as much as £22 a month – or £264 a year.
Value: Up to £264 annually
FREE MOVIE
Another great perk is the free movie you get simply for being a customer.
It’s the entry perk for Sky VIP, which is totally free.
This allows you to claim a single movie from the Sky Store, which could be worth up to £20.
5
The only downside is that you can only use the perk once. It won’t refresh every month like some of the other Sky benefits.
So make sure to use it wisely.
Value: Up to £20
FREE DISCOVERY+
Lastly, you can bag a basic Discovery+ subscription, getting you access to the streaming service’s Entertainment content.
That would normally cost you £3.99 – that’s equivalent to £47.88 over the year.
It gets you to a fairly sizeable catalogue of over 70,000 “real life TV episodes”.
And the subscription will stay active for as long as you have your Sky telly plan.
Value: £47.88 annually

That means the total estimated value over the course of a year for all of these perks is as much as £723.64.
