Justin Bingham died earlier this month after a tragic accident and his family have now released a statement expressing their pain and sadness.
Bingham, 40, was CEO of the software company Opiniion when they confirmed his death in a press release on October 7.
The company confirmed he fell 200 feet and died in Zion National Park.
His company released a statement emphasizing that the father of four had a great love for the outdoors. It also praised him for his character and optimistic attitude in dealing with people.
The statement read: “Justin was involved in a tragic accident while enjoying one of his greatest passions: exploring the great outdoors. Despite the efforts of more than 50 team members from various rescue teams, he died on the night of Saturday, October 5. 2024.

“His dedication to building meaningful relationships has had a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Justin’s adventurous spirit and dedication to living life to the fullest will be deeply missed.”
Justin also had a family blog called Our life in the Netherlandsdespite the family living in Utah, with his wife Lindsay, and often showing content about their lives and travels with their four children.
The Instagram account for the blog addressed Justin’s death in a post on Friday (October 11), revealing that the family is grieving but determined to be optimistic about the future.
The message read: “On behalf of Lindsay, we are heartbroken to share the untimely passing of our hero, Justin Bingham. The world has lost a legend. His family lost their stone. Lindsay lost the love of her life. Their children have lost their best friend. But we have not lost hope. Justin loved life more than anything. His passion for life was matched only by his dedication to his family. His wife and his four precious children were his reason for living, the reason he got out of bed every morning and his only purpose on earth.”

“He would never have wanted to leave them like this, but we pray that he can see the armies of earthly angels surrounding his family at this most desolate time. “He grabbed this pain by the horns and rode it through the impending storm with his family on his back. So we pick up the pieces. We remember him. We honor him. We trust in his power. And we find a way. We move forward with confidence, no matter how impossible it may seem, and look forward to the day we are together again.”
