CES 2025 is over, but the big presentations and conferences have only just begun. And if not, tell Samsung, who did not want to let the month of January pass without calling us for their first Unpacked, an event in which we will probably find out the new Galaxy S25 family and, as it could not be otherwise, you will be able to continue live and direct with us.
The conference will take place today, January 22, at 7:00 p.m. Spanish peninsular time. You can follow it through our live page, on our YouTube channel and on our social profiles. Below you can find the schedules by region:
- Spain: 19:00 (18:00 in the Canary Islands).
- Mexico: 12:00 PM.
- Colombia: 1:00 PM.
- Venezuela: 2:00 PM
- Chile and Argentina: 3:00 PM.
What we hope to see
Unless there are surprises, it is most likely that the undisputed protagonists of today’s Unpacked will be the Samsung Galaxy S25. There is always room for surprises, but everything indicates that this family will be made up, again, of three terminals: the Samsung Galaxy S25, the Samsung Galaxy S25+ and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultrathe Korean company’s spearhead for this year at the expense of the folding ones coming out (if they come out).
It is to be expected that Samsung, like the rest of the technology brands today, will take the opportunity to flex its muscles and show off its hardware, photography and design. However, there is no doubt that Galaxy AI, that is, the company’s artificial intelligence, will also receive its dose of prominence and, perhaps, some update in the form of new functions or options.
What is clear is that the Galaxy S25 will be serious rivals to beat this year and it is always interesting see where Samsung sets the barespecially seeing how the other Asian brands are tightening their grip. That said, there is no expected renewal of wearables or tablets, that will surely be reserved for a later event. What remains in the air is the rest of the products in the ecosystem.
Last year Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy Ring, its first foray into this type of product. It did so precisely around this time, so who knows, maybe we’ll see an update in the form of the Galaxy Ring 2 with improvements in health monitoring. Even more interesting is this alliance with Google to develop extended reality glasses under the umbrella of Android XR. Will we see today, even in teaser form, Samsung’s Vision Pro? We will clear up doubts in just a few hours.
