FOOTBALL fans have just hours to save £120 in a surprise Sky flash sale, with the broadcaster cutting the cost of its popular sports package – but the deal ends very soon.
The offer, gives new customers Sky’s Essential TV, Sky Sports and Ultra HD package for £36 per month – roughly £1.20 per day.
The flash deal runs until 11.59pm on Thursday, October 30, when prices will return to normal.
Usually priced at £35 for the standard bundle, Sky has added its Ultra HD upgrade for only £1, a saving of £120 compared with the usual £41 monthly cost.
The package includes more than 100 channels and full Sky Sports coverage, featuring Premier League, Carabao Cup, Formula 1, cricket and NFL.
Viewers will also enjoy select channels in Ultra HD, offering four times the clarity of Full HD – along with free Netflix and Discovery+ subscriptions.

The combination gives sports fans and entertainment lovers access to some of the biggest fixtures and shows in stunning quality, all in one place.
Sky’s flash sale comes just as the next round of Carabao Cup fixtures gets underway, adding even more incentive for football fans to tune in.
With some of the country’s top clubs set to play this week, many are seizing the opportunity to upgrade their viewing setup in time for the matches.
The offer is part of Sky’s push to compete with Virgin Media, which recently launched new TV and broadband bundles such as its £59.99 “Sport” plan.
While Virgin’s deal includes faster broadband speeds and more channels overall, Sky’s package offers a cheaper monthly rate with the added benefit of Ultra HD viewing and no dish required.
For those who prefer to tailor their entertainment, Sky allows customers to add on extras like Sky Cinema (£10) for blockbuster films or TNT Sports (£25) for more live sport.
Subscribers also get access to Sky Stream – the company’s new WiFi-based device that lets users watch without a traditional satellite setup.
It’s worth noting that Sky’s terms state that prices “may change” during the 24-month contract.
During the year, the firm increased its TV and broadband rates by 6.2 per cent, with another potential rise expected in April 2026.
Other providers, including EE, are also expected to raise prices in the coming year, meaning fixed-rate deals are becoming harder to find.
Despite these concerns, many customers continue to praise Sky for its coverage, content quality and innovation.
On Trustpilot, one delighted viewer said: “Wonderful presentation, commentary and punditry on football and cricket.
“Sport is dynamic, and so Sky Sports embraces changes in its package to reflect what’s happening.”
Another fan wrote: “I don’t usually post reviews, but big shout out to Sky Sports+, the new sports channel.
“Brilliant and for once Sky is in line with other sports platforms. I love it.” However, not everyone is as impressed.
With football fever running high and the Premier League season heating up, this flash sale is proving hard to resist.
