FORTNITE Festival Season 7 launches tomorrow, January 14, 2025, featuring Hatsune Miku as the main artist.
A reliable leaker has revealed Miku’s exclusive outfits for the event on Twitter/X just hours ahead of Season 7’s start.
Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR posted a couple of images on Twitter/X supposedly of the Miku Fortnite Festival skins coming tomorrow.
One of them shows a more classic look for Hatsune Miku, complete with a backpack and contrail you can equip.
Players will be able to purchase this skin via the Item Shop, where it will be available until Season 7’s end on April 8, 2025.
Another two Hatsune Miku skins will be unlockable via the Fortnite Music Pass for Season 7.
The two Music Pass styles are called Hatsune Miku Neko and Hatsune Miku Fluo, and leakers have managed to grab an image of the Neko style.
A couple of hours after the leaked image, an official post on Fortnite’s website revealed the styles.
The Neko Hatsune Miku skin will unlock immediately upon purchasing the Music Pass, which costs 1,400 V-Bucks.
For reference, a bundle of 1,000 V-Bucks costs £6.99 / $8.99, but V-Bucks can also be earned by playing the game.
Another way to get the Music Pass is to buy a Fortnite Crew membership, which includes access to all Fortnite battle passes for the duration of the subscription.
The Brite Hatsune Miku Style style is the final premium reward players will be getting for completing the Music Pass.
Other premium rewards include the Neko Miku Keytar and Neko Miku Guitar, with the keytar also coming in the Miku Brite style.
Who is Hatsune Miku?
Hatsune Miku is a virtual idol in the form of a sixteen-year-old girl with long turquoise twintails, who has performed in virtual concerts.
Miku started out as a mascot for a voicebank of the same name developed for the Vocaloid voice synthesizer software.
Hatsune Miku was first released back in 2007, with an English voice bank launched in 2012.
The android diva’s voice is based on samples from Japanes voice actress Saki Fujita.
The pass will also feature five free rewards, four Jam Tracks and the Shatter Sonic Guitar.
For more on the game, check out the changes to Battle Pass and Fortnite Crew subscription, effective since December 2024.
