It’s time for our next edition of Favorite Apps & Accessories with the iPhone Life team! Feature Writer Leanne Hays is here to share her favorite app to keep learning, even as an adult. Here’s Leanne:
Nerdish ($4.99/month)
This learning app lets users spend a certain amount of time each day reading educational articles on a huge variety of topics. Just tell the app how long you want to read each day and which topics you’re interested in. The For You tab suggests articles based on your stated preferences and reading history, while the Explore tab shows more varied options to explore, and the Quiz tab tests your knowledge over time as you use the app.
My original focus during my daily reading time was history articles, but the Daily Things category quickly became my favorite. Learning about varied topics like the evolution of the wristwatch, the origins and science of instant coffee, and how time zones came to be scratches just the right mental itch for me.
Give Nerdish a try, and let me know about your favorite articles so I can check them out, too.
