TELLY fans can snap up a large 50-inch 4K TV for just £269 in a new deal.
Normally you’d pay £319 for this particular set, so it’s a respectable discount of £50.
It’s the Xiaomi TV F 50, which runs on Amazon‘s very popular Fire TV platform.
Xiaomi isn’t quite a household name in the UK, but the Chinese tech firm is a giant in its homeland – and ranks as third smartphone maker globally, behind Apple and Samsung.
The company even launched its flagship store in the UK last week – but this particular deal is actually available via Amazon.

The discount works out as a price cut of 16%, which is nothing to sniff at.
Particularly because the popular model has hundreds of positive reviews and an “Amazon’s Choice” badge.
And price trackers back up that the normal Amazon price is £319.
It’s also worth noting that the larger 55-inch model isn’t discounted.

This TV has a large screen that measures 50 inches from corner to corner.
And it’s a 4K display, which means it has a resolution of over 8 million pixels.
That means you can watch 4K Ultra HD content in its native resolution – with the potential for higher detail than on Full HD televisions.
Thankfully these days 4K telly is easy to come by, with loads of it being made available on the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
It’s also a HDR TV (supporting the HDR10 format), which means you can watch High Dynamic Range content with improved contrast and a wider range of colours.
On top of that, the TV runs on Amazon’s Fire TV, which gets you access to popular apps like Netflix, Disney+ , YouTube, and Prime Video.
Plus Fire TV comes with a load of free on-demand telly that you can watch too, if you’re willing to sit through ads.
It also means that the TV comes with built-in Alexa, Amazon’s virtual assistant.
And the refresh rate (which is the number of times that the screen can refresh the image it’s showing per second) is 60Hz, but rises to 120Hz with Game Boost Mode, which should result in smoother visuals when gaming.
