Google Cloud has announced the Integration of your AI into Google Workspace Business and Enterprise planswhich due to this will also increase in Price. The increases will occur starting March 17, 2025 for old customers, and from now on for new ones.
For now it is not clear how much more will have to be paid for each plan, although several sources speak of around two dollars more per month per user in all plans. Of course, users who paid to have Gemini in Workspace will no longer have to face an additional cost for it. Thus, these users will stop paying the 31.25 euros that they paid monthly for each user with access to Gemini functions, and will now pay 13.67 euros per month for each one. At the cost, of course, of all Business and Enterprise plan customers paying more to have AI in Workspace, whether they want it or not.
The integration of AI in these plans will mean that Google Workspace Business and Enterprise users will have Artificial Intelligence integrated into Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Chat or Vids, among other applications. Thus, they will have access to Gemini to help them summarize, write and find information in emails, chats and files. Also to generate documents, spreadsheets and slides from scratch, and take notes in meetings, among other functions.
Additionally, they will be able to chat with Gemini Advanced to get support in completing complete tasks, from programming to research and data analysis. It also offers the opportunity to create Gems, a team of AI-savvy agents to assist with specialized or repetitive tasks.
NotebookLM Plus will also be accessible to Workspace subscribers. This service allows you to provide sources and data to obtain information and podcast-type audio summaries practically instantly. It also serves to share personalized notes with a work team. Google also confirms that the AI functions added to Google Workspace will not be the last, and that throughout 2025 more will be added to those that users already have available.
