Summary
- Hatch+ dropped a Twilight alarm and New Moon Unwind for Restore 2/3 featuring ‘Eyes on Fire’.
- Set sunrise five minutes to an hour before the alarm and keep volume low; full-blast ‘Hoa hoa hoa’ will jolt you awake.
- Limited Hatch+ drop timed with Twilight’s theater return — spooky, fangy pop-culture flex for fans.
This is the alarm clock of a killer, Bella.
Well, the Restore 3 is beautiful — even if it isn’t quite as sparkly as Edward. Another plus: it doesn’t need to drink blood to survive. It does need Wi-Fi, though, so I guess the Cullens still have a leg up on Hatch.
October is here, and on that chilly breeze comes the haunting sound of ‘Hoa Hoa Hoa’ season. The moment the weather shifts, the cool blue filter goes on, and it’s time to fully embrace the spooky (yet romantic) vibe of fall. I don’t make the rules — but I do enforce them. We take autumn very seriously around here.
As a proud owner of a Hatch Restore 3 and a retired member of Team Edward, you can imagine the sheer joy I felt when I started my unwind routine the other night and noticed a new Twilight-themed alarm and Cue. Hatch released these limited-edition routines for Hatch+ subscribers just in time for the weather to turn ice-cold, and I couldn’t be more excited.

Hatch Restore 3 is Hatch Sleep’s latest alarm clock, which allows users to avoid using their phones completely at bedtime. The alarm clock allows users to set custom chimes and to “rise with the sun” as light begins to rise thirty minutes before it’s time to wake up.
Wake up, Loca
How to start your day impossibly fast and incredibly strong
On October 1, Hatch rolled out a limited-edition Twilight Saga Alarm and fall-asleep Cue for Hatch+ subscribers. It features the most iconic audio from the 2008 film (and arguably ever): Eyes on Fire by Blue Foundation. If that doesn’t ring any bells, you probably know it as the “Hoa Hoa Hoa” song. Sounds relaxing to wake up to, right?
While Hatch is known for promoting calm and restful sleep routines, I’ll admit: when I tried the vampiric alarm this morning, I woke up so startled I should probably dress up as Buffy for Halloween. You never know when you’ll need to tap into some late-’90s slayer energy — but you really hope it’s not at 5:30am.
Granted, the scare was mostly my fault — I checked the settings afterward and realized I had accidentally cranked the volume to full. Still, once my heart rate returned to mortal levels, I felt like the newest boring brunette in Forks — fully ready to take on the day and almost get hit by a truck in the school parking lot.
The Alarm and Cue are available only for Restore 2 and 3 devices. If you’re still rocking the first generation model, you’re stuck sleeping like a mere mortal.
The morning’s most dangerous predator
Hold on tight, spider monkey
The Twilight Alarm includes the campy “Hoa Hoa Hoa” from Twilight’s soundtrack, pulled from the intro to Eyes on Fire — one of the first songs featured in the movie. You can customize the duration of the ‘Breaking Dawn’ sunrise animation to anywhere between five minutes and an hour before the sound begins. I’d highly recommend setting an appropriate volume, so you don’t wake up thinking James, Victoria, and Laurent are looming at the foot of your bed.
I’m not personally big on Unwind routines — I prefer silence when I’m getting ready for bed — but I have to admit: you can also enjoy the same “Hoa Hoa Hoa” vibe at night, almost like your own personal brand of heroin. The evening Cue is paired with a new light theme called ‘New Moon.’ Just remember to lock your window, even if it won’t stop a vampire simp. It’s the thought that counts.
Don’t forget that you can also name your alarms and Unwind routines in the Hatch app. Just maybe… don’t nickname it after the Loch Ness Monster. Bella might not appreciate that.
What’s going on over at Hatch?
It’s iconic, and not even Charlie Swan would get in its way
This Hatch+ exclusive was timed perfectly to line up with The Twilight Saga’s return to theaters from October 29-November 2. The fandom stays ready to sink its teeth into literally any new content (ironic or not) and this collaboration really nailed the middle section of the Venn diagram overlapping sleep-tech-lovers and vampire nostalgic fans.
It’s another fun pop culture crossover for the sleep wellness brand, and I, for one, am here for it. I’ll leave you with the same warning I gave myself this morning: it’s very easy to start resenting whatever sound drags you out of peaceful sleep. So if you’re worried about turning cult-classic audio into a sound you dread, maybe give it a test run for a few days before committing.
No one wants to hate Eyes on Fire… even if you are waking up impossibly fast and incredibly strong.
