Samsung teased its Galaxy S25 Edge first in January 2025 at its Galaxy Unpacked Event. Again, the smartphone was showcased at MWC Barcelona in March. It seems the company keeps on teasing the smartphone, but far from launching it. Rumors had it that Samsung could unveil its Galaxy S25 Edge on 15 April. But is it really going to do that? I doubt it!
Recent reports claim that Samsung could launch its Galaxy S25 Edge between May and June. Nevertheless, the reason for the delay is obviously unclear, but it isn’t due to the quality issue. As per ET News, the company is reviewing the release of the product not because of the quality issue, but rather the impeachment trial of South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol, which is scheduled to be held on the 4th of April. Maybe the strategy behind delaying the Galaxy S25 Edge is that the company doesn’t want the divided public attention on both the events.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is one of Samsung’s most exciting upcoming devices. Fans are eagerly awaiting its launch, and Samsung continues to fine-tune it behind the scenes.

As per industry insider, “As the release schedule of the Galaxy S25 Edge has been pushed back, the official release is also likely to be delayed. The product release, release, and price are all being conducted in extreme secrecy.”
As per report, Samsung will keep the pricing policy for the Galaxy S25 Edge similar to other Galaxy S25 series including Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra. It will be company’s thinnest model with only 5.8mm thick. The display is expected to be somewhere around 6.66 inches, just like Galaxy S25 Plus with 6.7 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and camera could be 200MP main sensor along with 12MP ultra-wide sensor. Galaxy S25 Edge could get an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It is expected to be launched in three color options including Black, Silver, and Blue.
