Honor has expanded its budget X-series in the home country China. The company has launched the Honor X70, featuring a massive 8,300mAh battery along with up to 80W wireless charging support. The X series usually focuses on durability. The new Honor X70 smartphone also comes with IP66 + IP68 + IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.
Honor X70 Specifications, Features
The Honor X70 sports a 6.79-inch 1.5K (1200 x 2640 pixels) AMOLED display, offering up to 6,000 nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Aluminosilicate glass. The device also features Honor’s Oasis Eye Protection screen.
Under the hood, the Honor X70 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset paired with Adreno 810 GPU. It packs up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. For photography, the Honor X70 features a 50MP AI rear camera that supports optical image stabilization (OIS). On the front, it houses an 8MP camera for selfies and video chats.
The Honor X70 is backed by a massive 8,300mAh battery that supports 80W fast wired charging. The 512GB storage variant also comes with 80W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging support. The device runs Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 out of the box.
Honor X70 is claimed to withstand long-term immersion in water, high-temperature hot water, high-pressure water spray, and high-humidity salt spray.
Honor X70 Price, Availability
In China, the Honor X70 is available in four RAM + storage configurations. The 8GB + 128GB model costs CNY 1,399 (around Rs 16,800), while the 8GB + 256GB option is priced at CNY 1,599 (about Rs 19,200). The 12GB + 256GB variant costs CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs 21,500) and the 12GB + 512GB option comes at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs 24,000).
The Honor X70 is offered in four colourways: Vermillion Red, Bamboo Green, Moon Shadow White, Magic Night Black.
