In our last episode of Lexicon we sat down with Tal Barmeir, CEO of Blinqio, to investigate how AI tries a revolution in work and software tests and what the next one for the industry in 2025.
From automating routine tasks to improving software development cycles, join us while we investigate how AI turns out to be more than just a tool-changer.

AI as a productivity booster, not a job killer
Because AI automates more tasks in different industries, the concerns about job losses are widespread. But Bunkeir sees it differently. “AI is very much a booster of productivity for me. It does not take my position in any way, but it removes much from the everyday work I had to do in the past,” Barier explained.
She emphasizes that AI does not replace human intelligence, but it, so that professionals can concentrate on creative, strategic and high -quality tasks instead of repetitive work.
“Like any other new technology, if we use AI to be able to handle repetitive tasks where less human imagination and discretion are required, we can make our lives much more productive and interesting,” she added.
For those who wonder how this shift relates to technological progress from the past. “I often say that it is very similar to things like a spell control. If you have it, it is much more effective – less repetitive work has to be done. And it does not take anything from you, apart from that work that you didn’t want to do anyway,” she explained.
Leather AI: Just start
For people who are not AI specialists, integrating AI in their workflow can feel overwhelming. But according to Barkeir, the best way is to learn AI to absorb it in daily life.
“The best way to work with AI is just daily things to plan your trips, searching for things, even arranging debates in the dining table,” she explained.
She shares how even casual interactions with AI, such as the use of chatgpt for facts during conversations, can gradually build fame. “I sometimes find myself with dinners where someone raises a question, and there is a small argument around what is true. We simply bring chatgpt in the discussion, tracing the conversation, bringing new information,” she added.
Barmeir also acknowledges that although AI can be a powerful research tool, users must be aware of verification.
“It is much easier to search with AI because you talk to it as a person. But it is crucial to verify results because hallucinations happen,” she said.
The following big trends
Barmeir sees two important trends that AI will define in 2025. “LLMS is becoming increasingly capable – not only texting in, texting, but generating blogs of presentations, making images and more,” she explained.
In addition to improvements in large language models (LLMS), she emphasizes an increase in specialized AI agents who will meet specific industries. “A whole industry is building specialized AI agents – slope in education, medicines, software tests and then,” she added.
According to Barmeir, these AI-driven assistants will offer support at expert level in different domains, making AI even more accessible and more useful for professionals without technical expertise.
What Blinqio does
The core of Blinqio’s innovation is an AI-driven software sticker that never sleeps, takes breaks and eliminates bottlenecks in software-release cycles. “We have fully exploited the first software test engineer by generative AI – programming tests without human involvement,” she told us.
Barmeir explains how traditional manual and automated test methods have difficulty keeping pace with the rapid pace of software development. “One of the biggest bottlenecks in software -release -cycli is testing. Our AI lists eliminate that delay,” she added.
With Blinqio, AI does not replace human testers, but elevates them to management roles. “People are not out of the loop. Instead of doing repetitive tasks, they supervise 10-20 AI-Esting engineers who work for them,” she said.
Ensure that AI is used forever
Although the benefits of AI are clear, the rapid acceptance evokes the ethical concerns about data privacy and potential abuse. “The real challenge is that AI is used for humanity – in medicine, research or productivity – rather than for incorrect purposes,” she said.
Compliance and regulation, it argues, will play a crucial role in governing the responsible use of AI. “Compliance and transparency rules will be implemented in 2025, because that is a crucial need for industry to continue,” she told us.
How AI changes career
With AI who took over many technical tasks, what does the future look like for a career in software tests? Will traditional roles become outdated? Barmeir does not think so.
“You may spend much less time correcting syntax errors, but you will concentrate more on the test strategy – how to test, what to test and how often to test. And these are the more interesting parts of software tests,” she explained.
Instead of replacing human jobs, AI changes the nature of the work – from implementation to strategy and supervision. “Instead of spending years as a test automation programmer in the hope of becoming a team leader, you will be placed in that chair from the first day, with the management of AI locals who work for you,” she added.
The future of Blinqio
While AI continues to evolve, Barkeir believes that it will fundamentally revise the entire life cycle of software development. “The entire area of software development, testing, release and monitoring is changing considerably because of AI,” she said.
She proposes a future in which software tests are fully automated, just like project management aids such as Jira have replaced traditional manual task tracking. “We believe that the same will happen with software tests. No more waiting for testers to analyze failures and assign tasks – General AI will handle it all seamlessly in the background,” she added.
What is the next step for AI in 2025?
With the AI industry that moved at a breakneck speed, Barmeir anticipates more breakthroughs in the coming year. “The biggest shift in 2025? AI agents are more specialized in industry – medicine, travel, legal, etc.,” she told us.
In addition to promoting AI options, it predicts greater regulations and transparency to ensure that users understand how AI-generated information is presented and used. “The compliance and management of the data aggregation of AI will be an important focus in 2025, which ensures transparency for users and responsible AI implementation,” she added.
“There is a huge opportunity today. AI is not just for testing or programming software. It will make professionals in all industries more productive, meaningful and valuable,” she explained.
Her message is clear – Embrace AI now, because it is here to stay.
