Black Friday is right around the corner, meaning you might want to sort out your Amazon Prime subscription ahead of the big weekend.
Unlike Prime Day and Prime Big Deals Days, you don’t need to sign up for Prime to access the huge wave of deals landing on Amazon on Black Friday weekend (and throughout the month of November, by extension). However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t some serious perks to being a Prime member during the sale.
Amazon Prime members get free next-day delivery, same-day delivery on certain items, early access to Lightning Deals and Prime-exclusive discounts throughout the year. There’s also Prime Try Before You Buy for clothing and grocery deliveries from Amazon Fresh, Morrisons, Co-Op and Iceland.

There are also plenty of additional perks, including access to a huge selection of TV shows and films via Prime Video and a complimentary Deliveroo Plus subscription to help you save on snacks and takeaways during movie nights. Prime Members also get ad-free access to 100 million songs with Amazon Music, unlimited image storage with Amazon Photos and two for £10 cinema tickets each month with Odeon.
The best part is that if you’re new to Prime all of this is completely free for the first 30 days. After your trial is up, you can choose to pay £8.99 a month to continue or cancel your membership after reaping the benefits during Black Friday.

Amazon Prime comes with a monthly fee of £8.99, but there is an annual fee of £95 that works out to be slightly cheaper in the long run. However, students and others aged 18-22 can save 50% and pay just £4.49 a month.
