HP has announced the arrival in Spain of HP Renew Solutionsits range of solutions developed to expand the useful life of computer equipment and for reduce carbon footprint. With this solution package, the company offers alternatives for the improvement of the life cycle of technological devices and commitment to sustainability.
Renew Solutions is made up of various measures of reconditioning, recycling and safe recovery of HP certified equipment. These solutions will allow companies to reduce the impact they cause on the environment without compromising the performance, safety or reliability of their equipment.
With this program, companies can choose reconditioned equipment with HP guarantee, which thanks to an optimization process allows reconditioned devices to maintain high quality and fiability standards, and also be safe, without their performance being affected. In addition, they can incorporate improvements in memory, storage and battery, in order to adapt to the needs of companies and their workforce.
In addition to reconditioning, HP Renew Solutions offers several services to improve devices management. The first is a equipment return service, with which companies can return their systems at the end of their life cycle, and receive their residual value in return. HP guarantees after the return its reuse or recycling.
Another of the services offered apart from HP renewal solutions is focused on the uninstalling and safe data of data, which aims to protect the information of the companies. In addition, the company encourages the transition to a circular model by implementing strategies in customer companies that reduce the environmental footprint and optimize its operational costs. And as a complement to Renew Solutions, HP offers neutral HP Carbon services to compensate for the carbon footprint of HP devices.
As part of its commitment to the circular economy, but also with digital inclusion, HP also develops the Hope program, which donates laptops reconditioned to young people in a situation of violation. Through this initiative, the company recovers customer and partners equipment, reconditions and delivers them to NGOs and educational centers. In Spain, HP Hope has collaborated with YMCA Europe, contributing to more than 6,000 young access to technology and training in digital skills.
As of April 30, companies in Spain will be able to access the following reconditioned devices certified by HP: the HP ELITEROBLO 840 G7, Elitebook 840 G8 and Elitebook 850 G8 teams. These devices include a limited guarantee of one year, with extended technical assistance options of 2 or 3 years.
The company has ensured that more laptop ranges will be available soon under this program of laptops, such as the 600 series, as well as desktop computers families. HP Renew Solution also offers reconditioned devices solutions in the printing area, focused on the contractual environment.
