Arknights: Endfield launched globally on Jan. 22, but Chinese game developer Hypergryph said it has suspended PayPal payments after a payment system malfunction on the first day led to inconsistencies between customer orders and in-game item delivery. The company said in a statement on its official X account that the issue affected a limited number of transactions made via PayPal through its official launcher and on its top-up website, topup.gryphline.com. Hypergryph has disabled PayPal as a payment option, conducted a full review of all PayPal transactions, identified the affected orders, and issued full refunds. The company said PayPal payments would only be reinstated once the issue has been fully resolved and thoroughly tested. [IThome, in Chinese]
