Kindle (2024)
Get the Kindle (2024) for just £69.99
Amazon’s entry-level Kindle just got even cheaper, making it a great time to upgrade from an older model or tip your toe into the world of Kindles.

The entry-level Kindle is a brilliant choice for anyone who wants an affordable, no-frills e-reader for reading or listening to audiobooks on the go. Sure, it may lack some of the more premium features found in the pricier alternatives, but it still boasts a sharp, six-inch e-ink display and up to six weeks of battery life on a single charge.
Plus despite weighing an impressively light 158g, its 16GB storage capacity means you can hold thousands of ebooks, audiobooks and magazines on your device.
Although it usually starts from £94.99, the Kindle is currently down to just £69.99 in Amazon’s Black Friday sale. You’ll also find a 27% saving on Amazon.com, at $79.99, down from $109.99.
It might be the basic, most affordable reading device from Amazon, but the Kindle 2024 is just as easy to recommend as its predecessor. Even though there’s a distinct lack of luxury features like a warm light and wireless charging, this still gets the job done and remains perfect for those who just want to read books without distraction.

Kindle Paperwhite
The Paperwhite series is easily one of our favourite Kindle collections, as it offers improvements from the entry-level Kindle but remains an easy-to-use e-reader that’ll suit most users.
Available as either the entry-level Kindle Paperwhite or Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, the latter is fitted with a few additional features including wireless charging support, an auto-adjusting front light and 32GB of storage. Of course, these features come with a slightly higher price tag.
This Black Friday, you can nab the entry-level Kindle Paperwhite for just £134.99 which is the lowest we’ve seen the ad-free iteration reach on Amazon. That’s $124.99 in the US, down from, $159.99 with a 22% price cut.

Whether you or a loved one is an avid reader, this deal on the Kindle Paperwhite should not be missed.

However, if you’d prefer the premium Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, then Black Friday is the time to invest – especially as you can nab the e-reader for just £154.99 on Amazon ($149, with 25% off in the US).

The Kindle Paperwhite 2024 nails the balance between having the best, largest display without being a giant tablet-sized device. It’s a pleasure to read on, it lasts for weeks on a full charge and it’s waterproof. This could be the perfect Kindle.

Kindle Colorsoft
If you read a lot of comics or travel books then you’ll appreciate the Kindle Colorsoft. The first Kindle to sport a colour display, the Colorsoft allows you to see coloured images with more pop, and you can even highlight passages in four shades to help differentiate your notes.
The Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is seeing a 32% price cut
Now at its lowest ever price for Black Friday, there’s never been a better time to invest in the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition.

Like the Paperwhite, the Colorsoft is also available with a Signature Edition model too, which also offers 32GB storage, wireless charging support and an auto-adjusting light. Amazon is currently offering the premium Signature Edition for just £183, which is a massive 32% off its usual £269.99 price tag. In the US, it’s $229.99 down from $279.99 (saving 18%).
Alternatively, you can save a bit of money and opt for the standard Kindle Colorsoft. In fact, the e-reader is just £164 for Black Friday, which is also 32% off its usual price.
The Kindle Colorsoft is finally down to a more tempting price
Enjoy your favourite comics, cook books and travel guides in glorious colour, thanks to this Black Friday offer on the Kindle Colorsoft.

Finally, Amazon has launched a colour Kindle. The Colorsoft mirrors the design of the Paperwhite, adding in a colour display to add some extra immersion to books and graphic novels. It’s not a complete success though, as the switch to colour comes with some frustrating issues and a hefty price tag.

Kindle Scribe
Hailed by us as one of the “best e-ink tablets for writing”, the Kindle Scribe isn’t just an e-reader but it also doubles as a nifty digital notebook too. With the included Premium Pen, you can jot down notes, write to-do lists and even doodle within the built-in notebooks.
Not only that, but you can also write notes within your e-books too and use AI to summarise and refine your writing too.
At just £259 in Amazon’s Black Friday sale, which is not only a massive saving of £120 but is also the lowest we’ve seen the Kindle Scribe reach, it’s never been a better time to nab the e-reader.
Amazon.com also has a discount on the Scribe, with 30% off, priced at $279.99 (was $399.99).
Save £120 on the four-star Kindle Scribe
Not only is the Kindle Scribe a brilliant e-reader but it also doubles up as a nifty digital notebook. Now just £259.99, the Kindle Scribe is a brilliant way to level up your note-taking.

Alternatively, if you want to save even more then we’d recommend opting for the slightly older Kindle Scribe 2022 instead. At just £199 for Black Friday, the Kindle Scribe (2022) still boasts the same digital notebook abilities but comes with a basic pen and lacks the textured screen finish and note taking improvements found in its successor.
For more on how the two compare, we’ve put together a Kindle Scribe (2024) vs Scribe (2022) guide.

The new Kindle Scribe fixes some of the biggest complaints we had with the original, both in terms of hardware and software, but there’s still more work to be done with the latter.
