The Indian Railways has launched a new mobile app called RailOne, which promises to simplify the entire train travel experience. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has introduced the app, which is designed to combine multiple railway services into a single platform. It will help you to book tickets, track trains, order food, and manage journeys without switching between different apps.
RailOne is developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), and it is now available for free on both Android and iOS. RailOne brings together the key services of IRCTC Rail Connect, UTS Mobile, NTES, Rail Madad, and Food on Track, so travellers no longer need to switch between five separate apps. From booking a reserved or unreserved ticket to checking PNR status, requesting a refund, or ordering food during a trip, RailOne handles everything in one place.
RailOne App Top Features
The Plan My Journey tool takes the stress out of ticket booking. You can purchase reserved tickets, open-window passes, and even platform saves without fumbling through menus. Live train tracking shows real-time updates on arrivals, delays, and changing platform numbers. Refunds for cancelled or missed trips can be managed directly in the app, and payments through the R-Wallet use biometric logins or a quick mPIN for security. A built-in Coach Position Finder helps you figure out exactly where to board.
If you’re hungry on your trip, the app also supports food ordering through partnered vendors. For any issues during your journey, you can raise and track complaints using the Rail Madad feature directly from the app.
You also get the option to manage and request refunds for cancelled or missed journeys. Plus, with integrated R-Wallet support, payments can be made securely using biometric login or an mPIN.
RailOne: Easy Login and Language Support
With single sign-on (SSO), your username and password work across all integrated railway apps, cutting down on forgotten credentials. For even faster access, you can use biometrics or an mPIN. The app speaks several Indian languages, letting people from different states navigate comfortably in the tongue they prefer.
