There’s lots of weather apps out there, but Dumb Weather goes against the grain. Rather than overwhelming you with information, it focuses on the bare essentials and the key insights that you truly need to have a good overview of your day ahead.
Top features
Not all weather needs to be smart, says the developer of Dumb Weather – and the app truly lives up to that premise.
Dumb Weather gives you the key essentials front and center, with current, hourly, and 10 day forecasts on display. Feels like, humidity, wind speeds, precipitation, and sunrise/sunset times are also all readily displayed in one dashboard tile.
The app also tells you exactly when the high and low temperatures of the day occur – that way you’re not in the dark about the weather extremes. You can generally assume that the high will occur in the afternoon and that the low will occur at night, but that isn’t always the case – so this insight comes in handy.
Another key premise of the app is its simple widgets and Apple Watch complications. There’s five different Apple Watch complications, giving you the weather details you’d like to see right at your wrist.

Dumb Weather is available for free on the App Store for devices running iOS 18.6 and later. It’s available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. There’s no ads, and no tracking – though after the first year you’ll need a subscription to keep widgets and complications.
If you just want a weather app that handles the bare essentials without too much data clutter, give Dumb Weather a go!
