Fans rest assured, the end is near (well almost) since Kaamelott – Second part arrives in cinemas on October 22, 2025! But be careful, unlike the First part, Kaamelott – Second part will be divided into two separate feature films, shot simultaneously, so it is only the first part which arrives at the end of next year. It must be said that King Arthur has a lot to do, now that he has regained his place on the throne and Lancelot is more powerful than ever.
Alexandre Astier has promised a film even more ambitious than the first, with a greater part given to wonder and fantasy. He wants to surprise spectators who have been waiting for the continuation of the saga since the end of July 2021 (2.6 million admissions in France). But that’s not all since Astier also revealed two filming photos, on which we can see Arthur in his travel outfit, then in his bed alongside Guinevere.
Little information has filtered out on the story, because Alexandre Astier is directing the film in the greatest secrecy, maintaining a maximum of mystery around the project. However, we know that the film will follow the events of the First part. The casting should logically include the main actors from the series and the first film, such as Anne Girouard, Lionnel Astier, Franck Pitiot, etc., as well as Joëlle Sevilla (Dame Séli) who has confirmed her participation.
