WHO GUARANTEES WHAT – The Royal Library (KB) has purchased a personnel and payroll administration system through a tender: Youforce from Visma Raet. This cloud solution replaces the current Exact products Synergy (personnel) and Globe (salary). The order, which runs for a maximum of twelve years, has a ceiling value of 2.1 million euros.
The KB has been working with Exact software on-premises for personnel and payroll administration for years, but that use started to become problematic because the process design and connections no longer fit in well with new developments. It meant extra manual work for managers and human resources employees. With the expiration of the contract in sight, the library issued a tender for a cloud solution with an app and self-service options for employees. The choice fell on Youforce from Visma Raet from Amersfoort. This means a four-year contract with the option of four two-year extensions.
The national library currently works with a range of applications for personnel administration (Exact Synergy), payroll administration (part of Exact Globe), absenteeism registration (Absence Signal – via ARBO service), recruitment & selection (Recruitee) and onboarding (Appical). Visma Raet’s newly chosen solution replaces the Exact software; the other functionalities may be migrated later, according to the specifications.
The KB wants to replace Exact Synergy by 2025; the contract for Exact Globe with supplier Advisie will continue until early 2026. The library uses this package for its entire financial administration, including payroll processing. The national library is issuing a tender for the replacement of this and the Proactis purchasing software in 2025.
